My name is Steve McBurnett, and I'm a resident of Bend, Oregon. My passion is photography - black & white, color, and panoramic, and this is my way of sharing an appreciation of the land in which I live. I use a variety of medium format, large format, and digital cameras to produce the images seen here. When I lived Back East (Falls Church, Virginia), I was a frequent and award winning exhibitor at the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival, the Torpedo Factory Gallery in Alexandria, Virginia, and the Harllee Gallery in Highlands, North Carolina. My time is divided between skiing and hiking Central Oregon (and the rest of North America) with cameras in tow, and volunteering with the Deschutes County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team. My partners in all of these activities are Genie, my wife and "art director", and Punkin the cat, resident art critic. So cruise the portfolios and enjoy!
